Today, FINOX Biotech (Finox AG) announced the 8 winners of its 2016 FORWARD (Finox Offers Research Work Award in Reproductive Development) competition – a highly-competitive, fertility research grant that is dedicated to fostering innovation in reproductive medical research, worldwide.
The FORWARD Scientific Committee, formed by an internal Finox committee with expertise in assisted reproductive technology, reproductive endocrinology, embryology, clinical science, clinical study management and regulatory affairs, reviewed 46 applications from 14 countries across Europe applying rigorous scientific criteria. There was a very high academic standard of applications, which covered an exciting range of topics – from gamete viability and endometrial receptivity to personalized treatment.
The winning Grants were awarded to Prof. Roy Homburg (United Kingdom), Dr. Paola Scaruffi (Italy), Dr. Ernesto Bosch (Spain), Prof. Udo R. Markert (Germany), Dr. Inge Errebo Agerholm (Denmark), Dr. Romain Imbert (Belgium), Prof. Charles Chapron and Dr. Pietro Santulli (France) and Dr. Thomas Freour (France) based on their proposals’ feasibility, innovation, value to the field and aligned to FINOX’s commitment in bringing science to practice and improving fertility treatments for patients seeking to become parents.
